3 Reasons Failure is Your Starting Point of Success
The starting point of success for all successful people is the day they encounter what initially looks like crippling failure.
Have you encountered any form of failure in the recent past? Is it to do with your relationship, business or academic work?
You shall rise again.
Whatever your failure may be, I have just one simple message for you: You shall rise again.
Donโt you believe me? Well, before you give up entirely on yourself, just spare a moment and read this post to the end.
Because Iโm about to prove to you that success has always been (and will forever be) a direct outcome of one form of failure or the other.
I have observed three things in nature which confirm my reasoning that the starting point of success is failure.
And donโt forget, every speaker or writer on the subject of success will joyfully tell you to fail and fail fast enough if you really desire success. J.K. Rowling of Harry Porter fame makes this very clear in this commencement speech delivered at Harvard University.
So tell yourself, I shall rise again.
1. It is buried seeds that germinate.
That is the natural order of things.
Any time you get knocked down by lifeโs circumstances, never see it as the end of the road for you. No. Failure is the starting point of greater things to come.
The creator of the universe has ordered it in such a way that sweetness always follows bitterness, and darkness always precedes light.
Your current bad situation is a necessary condition for a big breakthrough soon to come.
2. The sun must set so that it can rise.
You are like the sun. The same creator who created the stars in heaven created you. Life is designed in such a way as to make us reveal the awesomeness of our maker by rising from the ashes.
This is the reason you must fight on, despite the difficulties, to emerge as the victor that youโre created to be.
Trust me, you shall receive abundant blessings which will make you, and all around you, appreciate the overcomer that youโve been born to be.
3. Babies crawl first before standing.
So never regard the day your business or relationship appears to have hit rock bottom as the day of your demise.
Instead, see your moment of disappointment as a new stage in your life.
Failure is a stage which, like the crawling period in our lives, is purposely designed to prepare you for greater accomplishments in the near future.
Champions have never been champions all the time.
Much as it can be extremely frustrating and sometimes downright disheartening when life and the rest of the world seem to be against us, it is equally helpful for us to keep reminding ourselves that even the greatest champions have never been champions all the time.
There are always downturns in every successful personโs journey โ real, boring, depressing down-times! But those heady days always prove to be the starting point of success for many.
So in such difficult moments, it is most helpful for you to believe that you shall surely rise again. Because you definitely will.
