What Can I Use Instead of PayPal in Ghana?

You can conveniently use Skrill, Payoneer or Google Pay instead of PayPal in Ghana. The truth is, the PayPal alternatives in Ghana and other countries are many. In this post, I want to share with you some of the international payment gateways you can use instead of PayPal in Ghana.
So if you’re willing to know what you can use to carry out your online business transactions instead of PayPal in Ghana, then come along with me.
1. Skrill
Easily make payments or receive money online with Skrill. Skrill, a subsidiary of Paysafe, is one online payment transfer that anyone doing an online business can use instead of PayPal in Ghana and other parts of the world.
Personally, I use Skrill instead of PayPal in Ghana. As you know, it is not a straightforward process when you wish to use PayPal in Ghana, which has been on PayPal’s bliacklist for more than a decade now.
With Skrill, all you need to sign up is your email address or that of the person you wish to send money to. And if you want to withdraw your money, you’re free to transfer it to your local bank or to an MTN mobile money wallet.
Bloggers in Ghana who wish to earn ad revenue from their content will be able to receive their earnings through Skrill with such Ad Networks as Monetag and AdCash.
Their transaction costs are competitive. You can give Skrill a try if you’re not able to use PayPal in Ghana or elsewhere.
2. Payoneer
Another popular alternative to PayPal is Payoneer. After signing up with Payoneer, you can use your account to pay or receive money from most countries in the world. So there is no harm in trying your luck with Payoneer, especially if PayPal is not available in your country.
3. Wire Transfer
If you’re a serious blogger in Ghana, you might have already heard of Google AdSense. So let me just remind you that Google AdSense is the most popular Ad Network among top bloggers across the globe. Anybody who spends a couple of minutes on the internet, either on a website or a YouTube channel, will definitely have encountered Google Ads.
This is why AdSense is huge. Happily, they do not restrict their approved publishers to PayPal. In fact, Google allows publishers to receive their ad earnings via bank or wire transfer instead of PayPal.
Not to worry if you don’t have anything to do with blogging or AdSense. You can still do your online business with a wire transfer in many instances.
4. World Remit
It is easy and fast to send or receive money from people and businesses outside Ghana through World Remit. Just like Skrill, the money you receive can be cashed via your bank account or your mobile money wallet, like Telcell.

Final Thoughts
The fact that PayPal is the most popular online payment gateway in the world does not take away the fact that there are other equally efficient methods of sending and receiving money online. Are you unable to use PayPal and, therefore, looking for a different way of carrying out your online transactions?
All you need to do is try one or two of the above platforms instead of PayPal.
